The Parks Foundation’s SummerStage season kicked off with a bang Tuesday night with a brilliantly produced, star studded show that features the music of Frank Sinatra.  The lineup featured John Pizzarelli • Andrew Bird • Marc Cohn • Mary Chapin Carpenter • Judy Collins • Bettye LaVette • Aimee Mann & Ted Leo • Joan Osborne • Allen Toussaint • Suzanne Vega • Loudon Wainwright III • John Legend – all doin’ it their way. Highlights included Judy Collins’classic rendition of “Send In The Clowns”, Loudon Wainright III vamping through “One For My Baby”, Bettye LaVette’s soulfully powerful performance of “My Way” and John Legend’s brilliant rendition of “It Was A Very Good Year”. Another brilliant production by the Parks Foundation and the beginning to another amazing year at SummerStage!
